Flow Assurance – Wellbores to Export course provides a complete review of oil and gas production flow assurance threats, trouble-shooting and flow management.
The course begins with an overview of flow assurance and the business justification for its management. It then reviews flow assurance issues with producing wells and pipelines and considerations for oil and gas process plants will be discussed. Topics will include:
- Corrosion
- Scaling
- Artificial lift systems
- Plugging
- Collapse
- Chemical treatment and pigging
- Inspections and repairs
Marine export systems will be discussed, as are specific concerns with solids, scales, paraffin and hydrates. Geotechnical problems, buckling, emergency response and contingency planning are considered. The course concludes with performance management for flow assurance.
